  1. tough one to call ? always admired the look of red daniel imagine crossing him with van morsel i bet they would look a picture bought some of louellas jan ardens for stock myself, got a 4year old hen out of them she looks better every year, she,s been lightly raced ;this year im hoping she will come up with the goods
  2. totally agree with you roland thats why our nth lincs fed is mainly won by the cleethorpes brigade but if the full fed turned north you would see a totally different results one or two of the coastal big boys would still be up there but there percentage of wins would be far less
  3. i would recomend buy some birds of my brother ron dunks he has the best north rd birds around north lincs a mixture of d &t harris jansens and there wildermersch on the north the jansens were unbeatable we would love the opertunity to race against the nrcc but in this so called sport of ours they have a radius to prevent us from racing against them ,ask yourself why
  4. cleaned my old corn shed out at the weekend only food that was in there was bucket of rat poison i got off the local pig farmer the rats had eaten a hole in the side of the bucket and ate all the poison talk about help yourself hav had 3 traps set since sat afternoon but no joy as yet
  5. is the yellow kirkys that lpw seem to sell predomitley sion based as the yellow factor seems to be a sion trait
  6. what is the origin of the kirkpatrick family oldyellow i seem to remember that as a boy solway king was the pigeon we all wanted to strag in
  7. quarry lofts the trimard chequer cock belge 75 3120514 was sold at frans,s sale feb 5th 1978 of kellens bloodline one of only 3 uncrossed kellens birds at the sale out of a hundred for sale the other 2 were jonge held belg 76 & jonge merckx belge77 leading me to believe that the merckx and held kellens were of the kellens strain also; a pigeon named sister beer was also at the sale bred in 77 and of the bloodline of monteyne x lammertyn x kellens sems that the beer would also have the kellens vien running through him as mentioned, amazing the amount of crosses in this sale
  8. quarry lofts are your wildys the young trimard lines of p and r ,s i had a few via anthony carne of st blazey par,,still kicking myself that i threw them away over the channel mnfc falaise chaseing the big prize
  9. to right jimmy i have frans ,s sales list from 1978 ,coppenolle ,desmet mathys, cattrysse, vav der espt, haelterman, janssen ,the list goes on i believe brian hynes once wrote that it was debatable what really was the base strain of these birds as for ian parsons wildys these are very close to the originals fantastic birds would recomend them to anyone {except round were i live ] bought 2 hens from him in o4 and they have bred winners every year
  10. can any one tell me how hession and allen got hold of there van reets as im led to believe they were originally intended for a ian parsons of penrith but circumstances prevented him from picking them up
  11. ian parsons of penrith has these along with the andre clemens both familys i believe are very closely related
