rose my view is this. i know what you have wrote is correct and seems unfair but lets list some of the other aspects of pigeon racing which are not fair. the working man versus the unemployed or retired . <time wise> the rich versus the poor < obviously money wise > the old versus the young < more active and quicker on the feet > sometimes the west man versus the east man. the small back garden versus the acre plot . the proffesional pigeon man versus the hobby man. the point is no person ever is going to make this sport equal. so ets will not stop someone racing pigeons if they dont have 1 , but it will help others stay in the sport if it gives them more time and flexability.

the reason no one has responded is its getting boring now listening to all the anti ets brigade going over the same old things. ive got ets and its the best thing ive done to make my hobby much more enjoyable. so have a further 50 % of my club thats 16 members and everthings going well . so come on just get on with your racing.

the problem we have in liverpool is there is 14 clubs in the amal that all need picking up and it takes from 5.15pm till 11.45 to do all collections then we have to drive 270 miles to coast .do any clubs mark together to reduce the collections.

are these geraldy wagons new wagons 7.5 tonners and what sort of money did they costto purchase

so in both your organisations do you race mark your birds at your own club and then get picked up by a feeder wagon.

so how long would it take to pick up the 10 clubs and what would the same driver go on then to the race point. i hope i am not being intrusive its just i arrange the transport in my area and we to have a geraldy wagon and 40ft artic but are just looking in to better options rather than pick up 14 clubs then go to the race point .so i am just after views of how the rest of the country do it. cheers

i am just posting a note to get a feel of how other organisations throughout the country get ther birds picked up ie do you have your own transporters and if so do all clubs in your organisation get collected individually before the transporter leaves for the racepoint. thanks
