  1. i have experimented years ago with various sugars , such as fructose , honey , sucrose , and mollases beats them all
  2. one tablespon per 4 pints of water , just disolve one tablespoon of molases in hot water then cool down and top up with more water to four pints ( this is usual size of a medium drinker ) , old hands used to use it as a natural wormer cant say i have tried to worm pigeons in this way but then again my birds havent got worms so it may work , mollasses is basicaly unrefined sugar in a more natural state , and sugar = glugose = energy so can give your birds a boost prior to racing and top up with pigeon tea after racing

  22. Green plants are the only plants that produce oxygen and make food, which is called photosynthesis. Photosynthesis means ''putting together with light.'' This takes place in chloroplasts, which have chlorophyll in them. Chlorophyll absorbs the sunlight. From sunlight, green plants combine carbon dioxide and water to make sugar and oxygen. Green plants use sugar to make starch, fats, and proteins. There are tiny pores called stomota. Oxygen and carbon dioxide enter and leave through the stomata , cant rember which was in day and which was in night . Nearly all algae have photosynthetic machinery ultimately derived from the Cyanobacteria, and so produce oxygen as a by-product of photosynthesis
