  1. the creamy flights usually caused by a red in parents , on the blues and chequers you also get like a grizzling effect , which appears in grizzle familys when grizzle throw full colours or paired to a full colour bird thats Blaz's bird obviously natural by the casting , a widowhood bird will hold there wing much longer
  2. his flights look bleached by the sun that's all but if on open hole that be why locked up birds aren't stressed , as long as have a routeen exercise and feeding times birds rest better when loft has a set regime imo
  3. Quite agree , a step in the right direction should be no injured bop should be returned to the wild , as the fear of man is decreased
  4. are these in an aviary Gary ??? or out of a red ???? doesn't look that he's nighted out or missed a meal
  5. 8th primary nearly fully up 2 to go no big gaps if wing tips touching at tips then id say be fit for the job probably got a couple of weeks before he casts another
  6. Happy Birthday guys hope your all having a great day
  7. Think you've two cocks and a hen enjoy
  8. I think the continental fanciers treat too much anyway :emoticon-0127-lipssealed: , but like i say ring my vets up there quite happy to answer queries and obviously know far more than i know from a technical point of view great to see someone taking up the microscope will probably save you lots of ££££'s and you'l know exactly what's wrong with your birds , well done :emoticon-0137-clapping: :emoticon-0137-clapping:
  9. Thank you , hope your having a great season too , Basketing for Bourge today am very hopefully for a good fed position , not been trained since first race and not been treated for anything all year or year before , flying there hearts out today so looking good , it's better than the 10 to 15 minutes they usually have been doing but i rather they flew there race at the weekend rather than during the week
  10. that's my take on things too many bops and wires running the gauntlet loosing good birds :emoticon-0137-clapping: :emoticon-0137-clapping: basketing continually creates stress , stress cause illness , then you need to prop them up with the medicine bottle , medicating gives them false form then they get ill again more stressed , but everyone to there own
  11. Well done Gary , you've had a good season :emoticon-0137-clapping:

  15. got to be quick
  16. not insulted at all , just suggesting that vets are there to answer enquiry's , i quite often use my visits to ask questions
  17. oocysts per gram (opg) a count that was under 3,000 oocysts per gram (opg) of droppings was considered to be normal, with no expected response to treatment. A count of 3,000-20,000 opg was considered to be moderate, with treatment often providing a significant improvement in performance. A count of 20,000-50,000 opg was considered to be severe http://www.albertaclassic.net/chalmers2.php
  18. I can't find an old test one that's got a high count
  19. maybe next time eh
  20. If you have a high count your advised to treat as there numbers are high , surely if you have been tested by a vet they'd offer treatment if not ring them back
  21. until they rectify it silly computer mistakes you got to love them
  22. todays deal 2 beers for £16 going through at £4 , only put two through at a time

    T3 Wanted

Your club members may have some they no longer use as your sectary
  24. have seen this type of flying start with many birds they don't keep them for long with hawks and wires these days , there far safer around home you can't see how fit they are 20 / 30 miles away you can around the loft
  25. I only ever train till i start racing , it all depends on what you want to get out of your birds , you might want a great yb season , get them on darkness hammer them , i doubt many would be good yearlings , so a hard question to answer as i don't know what your aims are , my aim is to get a few races in purely for training and help separate the wheat from the chaff
