Talking about a good cheap supplement. this is a fantastic grit/mineral/salt supplement. mix in equal quantities crushed barbeque briquettes, rock salt (the type from the gritting machines) and clean soil. Mix altogether and fill your pots (I use the emptied red pickstone pots) after you fill the pots, let them dry out by natural means......the birds love this mixture once put in front of them
All i asked was what to give the birds after treatment? lol by the way guys i aint a racing man but tipplers but come on this site to gain knowledge from whats around the racing world - and glad i am on here as its very informative
i would like just to say this is the first time i will be using Baytril and hopefully the last as i dont prevantative as a rule, just had a bad breeding season with eggs failing to hatch and youngsters hatching dying in the nest after about 5 days or so, been informed that it is deffo parathyoid by the well informed, and advised to do all the birds
Thanks bigbok - would be interested if anyone else has used 10% will get intouch with the supplier to double check, as i say it says 5 - 7 days on the bottle maybe this compensates for using it over 10 days?
Bigbok - the stuff i have is 10% from a well known supplier in Sunderland dont want to name drop on this for obvious reasons, he reckons 1ml to 1 ltr for 5 - 7 days? but i keep reading on this site for 10 days
Lots of pros and cons on use of baytril, all i wanted was advice on post treating the birds after administering the antibiotic, i was going to treat withj parastop but managed to get the baytril quickly
I am a tippler fancier, and looked at these boxes in wilkinsons today, my birds are half the size of racers,i wouldnt use these as think they to small for birds to tread in especially with the pan inside, and forget it if you want two pans inside box
Is it just about the protein level as some of the posts seem to sway towards layers pellets? and some use it all year around, just wondering what is the best for mixing with the corn for breeding purposes, would layers be ok, or do others use the growers etc etc?
Whats the difference in the pellets, for example we are reading about growers, layers, finishing etc, my corn supplier only has layers, just wondering is any type recommended? thansk guys
Aye. would also like some more info on the bull system. loft set up etc. but totally agree waste of space if bull cock was not proven as a flyer and producer
