The 23-year-old man was stopped by customs officials at Melbourne airport after he disembarked a flight from Dubai. The officers searched his bags and allegedly found a vitamin container containing two bird eggs. A further search revealed he was wearing tights under his trousers, with a live pigeon stuffed into each leg. The birds were wrapped in padded envelopes, but had little else to protect them during the 10-hour flight. It is illegal to bring wildlife into Australia, which has strict quarantine laws designed to protect health, agriculture and the environment of the island nation. The man was arrested on the scene and could face 10 years in jail and a substantial fine if convicted. He is now being questioned by police. Officers also seized a money belt containing plant seeds and undeclared samples of eggplant in the passenger's baggage before he was handed over to Australian Quarantine and Inspection Services staff. "Wildlife smuggling is not only cruel to the animals involved, it poses a severe risk to the Australian environment and the health of the Australian community," Richard Janeczko, a customs spokesman, told the Australian Associated Press. "It is important that people declare all animal and plant materials to customs and border protection when they enter Australia." A customs spokesman said it was not known what the pigeons were intended to be used for, adding the man was expected to be charged on summons with wildlife smuggling offences. Mr Janeczko said the pigeons were not endangered and that the case - as well as the birds, eggs and seeds - had been turned over to the Quarantine Service to assess the health risk associated with bringing the birds into the country

3 members got it in my club this year some problem at the start with it but up and runing now thank god only thing the pads are a bit small and if you have windows 2000 you will be ok
