  2. The Bricon system will operate with any Printer that has a Parallel port and a print language of PCL6. It would seem that information given out by myself on the matter has already been re-posted here. The smallest laser printer available at present that is compatible is the OKI B2400 which weighs in a less than 5 kg and is around half the size of most laser printers. Best regards MARK PALMER Bricon UK

  4. I am a fourth generation pigeon fancier. I have a photograph of my great grandfather with a pigeon sitting on his lap from the 1890's. My own dad, Bill, got the pigeon bug from his father Tom Palmer of Sheldon, Birmingham and likewise I was introduced to pigeons whilst in the cradle. My father started his own loft at his own first house in 1964 and the lofts still stand there today in Hamstead, Birmingham (though now the third main loft in 44 years). My dad started racing in 1964 as W. Palmer, and in 1967 took my mother Sheila on as a racing partner flying as Mr & Mrs W. Palmer, and they were one of the first to race as a Mr & Mrs partnership. My name was eventually added to the partnership in 1973 and ever since we have raced as Mr & Mrs W. Palmer & son. I was therefore officially 11½ years old when I started racing, but by then was an old hand !!!!! MARK PALMER.

  7. RATAK Having tried many different rat killers on the shelves of our warehouse a number of years ago, the one that all the customers said was the best and therefore wanted was RATAK. It continues to sell well and is recommended. It contains difenacoum and is a ready to use pellet bait. The box states that it kills rats and mice including those resistant to Warfarin. The phone number on the box is 0151 420 7151 Mark Palmer

    Vitamin E

Scientific research has proven that fertility is boosted by a combination of Vitamin E and Selenium. Individually the two elements work, but together they work so much better. I have also heard good reports about the Blue Smarties - does anyone know why ? Mark Palmer.
  9. I have an even better idea ..... I actually know. I have all of the correspondence in the matter including the main reports that the RPRA based its decision on. I know exactly where the original 'finger pointing' came from, and you would be surprised where from (or maybe not). !!!! MARK PALMER UK Distributor for Bricon.
  10. Hello Thank you to everyone who rightly kept faith in the Bricon Club-Master system. The reason that it was re-instated by the RPRA was because it was clearly demonstrated to them that the system was fully compatible not only with the Unives 1.7 protocol but also with every other brand of ETS. QUITE SIMPLY THE BRICON CLUB-MASTER SYSTEM WAS FULLY COMPATIBLE, BEFORE, DURING AND AFTER THIS SITUATION CREATED BY RPRA. MARK PALMER UK Distributor for Bricon.
  11. RPRA ANNOUNCEMENT BRICON ETS The RPRA Clock Committee has recently met with Bricon management. After discussion and tests the Committee is now satisfied that the Bricon marking system is compatible within the Unives 1.7 protocol. The RPRA Clock Committee is therefore happy to announce that the Bricon club marking system’s approval for use is reinstated forthwith. In addition, the RPRA will require all manufacturers of approved ETS equipment to produce an operator's guide for their respective equipment detailing how to set up the same and operate it with the approved equipment of other manufacturers. The RPRA will also, in conjunction with all ETS manufacturers, introduce a Clocksetter's Guide for ETS. Peter Bryant General Manager Royal Pigeon Racing Association
