    Hi, just a point - i think the photo's i've put on are a bit misleading.  The new stock is not as small as it would appear on the photo's.  There is one huge Logan, which unfortunately is standing next to the new ones and the new one is bending down - so i think they look smaller than they actually are.

     

    They are just a bit smaller than the logans - but their heads, beaks and eyes are smaller than the logans.  Does that give anyone any clues? :-/

    yes i do get on with the other side they seem to be ok not bussom buddies with them though as i try to keep myself to myself .

     

    but were do i stand if she complain to the council?

     

    If it is only here that is complaining they probably won't even deal with it, i work a lot with councils and enviro health, they are far too busy to react to one person.  If you are unlucky a jobsworth might turn up, but stay calm but your version of events forward and point out that regardless of you having pigeons, you can't stop the ferals!  They can't argue with that

    See you there 883 girl friend  - Thanks for the info - I'm goin tommorrow morning - I'll buy you a cup of tea if I see you!!!  Also had a text from the MNFC to say that they will be there for subs and ring orders, so it would appear that the stall holders will be there even if the sales don't go ahead.

    Yep i'm going tomorrow morning too - just look out for a 5ft 9 dizzy blonde with an expression on her face of "i know nothing" walking around with a bloke who is a cross between george clooney and george micheal but greyer!  (dont tell him i said that!) ;D ;D

    well boddy and ridwood or if like us you thought it was a joke how much they cost, then you can always make some out of roofing lath and some pigeon mesh - cost us about £40 to do a 12 x 7 floor! ;D

    I'am just worried about it as this woman can be pretty nasty person if she wants and as i was told it doesn't take much for her to be nasty.

     

    Do you get on with the other side?  Talk to them, let them know your birds are in when she is saying that they are making a mess.  That way if she does talk to the council, you have a witness who can say otherwise.

    Hi everyone just wonder is anybody could give me some advice as to were i stand.

     

    As i have said in previous Threads i have only been keeping pigeons for around 2 years,

    I have heard on the grape vine now that the neighbours are not happy with the birds they have not been out since early september, and the woman next door has commented to another neighbour that birds have been messing her washing, this cannot be my birds. does anybody know how i legally stand if she was to complain, I really don't want to have to get rid of them as they are the best thing i have ever done.

     

    has anybody been in the same situation and still got there birds.

     

    i know you may not want to, but it really is worth having a chat with the neighbour.  Never make an enemy of them, keep them on side and then they won't complain

    I would like to get you to double check as a number of Canary clubs have been forced to cancel shows and a DeFRA vet has told us NO shows allowed inc Telford Auctions that was at 1329 today friday .If it goes ahead Defra will have alot of Canary clubs taking the matter further.

     

    Hi rang telford at just after 1.20 today and they said it's on with the auctions ;D

    I have just spoken with the International Centre at Telford where the show is this weekend.  I spoke to one of the main facilitators.

     

    They have confirmed the show is on and there will be 3 auctions of birds on Saturday and 2 on Sunday.  I have been assured that this has been agreed with DEFRA.

     

    So those who were looking to travel it is still worth it.  ;D ;D

    no,definately not !!!! use your small white ones of dubious breeding for foster parents for your logans,that way you can get more logans to fly for dove release !!!! hope that helps !!!!!
