I sell should read 'I see ...' sorry for that! whoopsy well come on Roland if you cant spell see, we have a problem lol i dont doubt that massarella has champions and lots of them but ask the people who they purchased the birds off whether they regard it as a champion. Massarella are in the game for money nothing else at all they know very well that marketing a pigeon as a champion will increase the sales of its young.

Roland i was debating between my choice and yours, I have a lot of respect for Frank Bristow and it was out of him and Mick Betts. i dont know Mick Betts personally but Frank used to come and judge shows for us and is one of the true gents of the sport. he does nto always get the credit he deserves

well it is all about opinion but i feel in some cases they use the term loosely not to say they have not owned champions but as i say sometimes its a loose term

i disagree merlin, a champion is a pigeon that is sucsessful in either field be it racing, breeding or even for the showmen showing. if you can get a pigeon that breeds top pigeons after racing as well true it is a champion but i also feel a pigeon with 23X1st is a champion as it has excelled in its objectives set out by the owner. i feel this applies to breeding too a pigeon breeding many winners i feel deserves the title also. I do feel the term is used lightly nowdays maybe more so by the big studs ie massarella

I agree there is plenty of new fanciers on here mac1 should have had the birds all gone within a day. From the pictures these would be a good start for someone
  14. Dovescot i know exactly what you are saying, red fox has his head screwed on for sure.
  15. If the Culled birds were to be served in a pie or stew the PC brigad would not batter an eyelid, i agree though Fifer we cant let youngsters see this side of the sport
  16. If spencer does not have any of the treatment i will send you for what i use. i have always been one for treating blind but am gradually getting it out of my routine now. when you find a good honest comapny for dropping testing you are sorted. lol im still looking.

the pigeon will look gorgeous to you if it does its job i have several birds that were not to my liking they certainly are now
  19. think its about 37.50 does it go down though with the more people in it
  20. what age is he
  21. i think for £30 it is a good gamble, look on elimar pigeons bidded up to £950, these 950 birds offer the same gamble as the ones Timbarra has offered just 920 cheaper. I am not saying these fvw on offer will be world beaters but very few people sell pigeons in the bhw for less than that many of these pigeons are advertised wit the champions line but it ends up being 6 generations back on the pedigree A great opportunity for someone
  22. nothing wrong with fvw
