castleview you would be saprised how many cats that you get in one night mate ... ive got a alarm set on loft its like a censer and the other bit is in the bedroom ...some nights its gone of maybe 5 or 6 times and ive gone to the window and seen cats hanging on the front of the loft scrathing away at the air vents...alot of fanciers dont even no theyve been there cos there asleep..( but i no different) then some fanciers wonder why there heaving crap racing ...all they think is we dont get cats , but trust me they do.... :'( ive seen all different coloured ones in the night not just from our area they must travel miles every night....just some thing to keep you fanciers on your toes .. ;) mark ps some times in the year you go in your loft in the morning and find loose droppings...then you start to sling things in the water ( canker cocci worms ) dont... you no what it is.. hope this helps guys... :K) :K)

trust me it works i havent had a cat in the yard in the 2 weeks since i put it there and i no as a fact the cats arnt comming in the night because they would set my alarm of and they havent ;) ;) mark....

hi mate try a cat zapper ive just bought one from boddy and rigewoods only£15 there good but youve got to be preety close but they run like f..k when it hits them but it doesnt harm them.... if that fails make a scare crow and stand it near your shed but keep moving it around different spots so the cats dont get use to seeing it trust me i havent had a cat in my yard for 2 weeks since i made it trust me mate... and theres hundreds around here... i will put a picky on of it in ten mins to show you it but dont laugh... :K) :K) :K) ps keep swaping coats on scare crow to cofuse the cats....

it will be back in the morning chase... trus me m8.. it happend to us last fri next doors rotweiler jumped up the back of the loft and thety all went up ..got them all in 4 hours later but one was missing ..it come back 2 days later and thats the first time its ever been up ... there very clever chase dont worry m8.

hi rapido man ive just read your thread on feeding maze to your carol hermans ... i had to chuckle to my self when you said they go hypo when fed maze... ive just started up pigeons this year after heving a year of plus moving house and ive had some karol hermons give me of a good friend... when he put them in the basket for me at is house he said dont feed them maze just a protien mix with no maze ...because you want get them out the sky..i thought to my self is this guy having me on or what? but after reading what you have been told it makes me wonder...but theres some good fanciers on this site who no what there on about so i think i will listen to them cos theyve already got hermons... anyway m8 all the best with them.ps im just of to get me hermons in theyve been flying since 6.30 this morning... ner only joking.. all the best mark... ;)

ours was when we sent only 4 cocks to eastbourne ( left 8 at home) finnished 1st 2nd and 3rd the other one finnished about 16th .... it must just been a bit of luck that day,,eastbourne is 194 miles to us and 25 members sent 275 birds .. i will never forget it as long as i live :o :)
