I am offering a 2007 bred youngster from one of our best breeding cocks housed at Myrtle Lofts “Solitaire” His own racing performances have already been described as some of the best achieved in our own racing loft, but his ability as a breeder far outshine any of his racing successes.
“Solitaire” is winner of many prizes before going to stock.
1999 Yearling
1st Ace Bird of the Year in the W.B.C.C. open to members of all four counties of Yorkshire. 1st W.B. Championship Club Falaice 333 miles. 2nd W.B. Championship Club Fareham. 13th W.B. Championship Club Newbury. 20th Open Northern Classic Vire 169 members sent 1,204 birds.
Year 2000 – Two year old.
1st National North East Section, 1st Open Midlands National La Ferte Bernard 387 miles. 1st Northern Classic La Ferte Bernard. 1st National North East Section, 26th Open all England in the Alliance Millennium National Please Note. First 25 birds in the all England were flying between 191 & 261 miles “Solitaire” was flying 387 miles in to a head wind. 443 members sent 1,435 birds (5 bird Limit) Plus he has won as a yearling and a two year old other prizes at Club & Federation.
“Solitaire” has already made outstanding progress in our breeding loft. The winners reported back to Myrtle Lofts are fantastic.

In 2004 - D & J. Hawkins, Doncaster won 1st & 2nd Open M.N.F.C. Nat Picauville G.R. with two grand children (Nest Mates) from Solitaire, also a different daughter from Solitaire bred them 1st Sect, 1st Open Northern Classic again in 2004.
In 2005 - Different fanciers in different lofts 70 miles apart had five different pigeons in the first 20 Open National they won 2nd, 4th, 8th, 18th & 20th National 850 members sent 7,131 birds. All grandchildren from “Solitaire”. Also in 2005 Clive Yates from Tamworth won 1st Section, 1st Open M.N.F.C. Yearling National winner again a granddaughter from “Solitaire”.
In 2006 - Fowler Bros won 1st Section M.N.F.C. again a grandson from “Solitaire”
“Solitaire” is a direct son from our No1. breeding cock “Shadow” when paired to “Princess” She is a direct daughter from “Bolero” 1st National Brive 1994 when paired to a direct daughter from “De Vital” 1st National Champion LD KBDB 1993 & 1st National Ace Pigeon LD KBDB 1993, prizes include 2nd National Montauban 6,814 birds, 6th National Norbonne 6,531 birds and 9th National Cahors 8,078 birds, when paried to “De Princess” dam of 5th National Ace LD KBDB.
Me and my father have purchased back for stock from our customers this year a direct son from “Solitaire” x “Joint Venture” and two direct daughters from “Solitaire” x “Band of Gold” all three are proven breeders at national level.
