Maybe we should request SHERLOCK become involved to trace the culprit! ;D
I deduct he may be around in a little while! ;D
After reading the last post, I think this needs investigated, a bit too far away from Baker Street but I have a friend up in the Fife area who will call in on DOVEScote if that is ok by him 8)

Found an interesting parallel from one of Bart's links: an english osprey makes it to Norway. Highly probable then Eagle Owls made it from Northern Europe to Britain, as the TV programme suggested?
http://birdwatchmagazine.blogspot.com/2007/08/english-osprey-makes-it-to-norway.html
An osprey's young that are born here fledge and migrate as far as South Africa then return when they are two years old, does this make them vagrants in South Africa, NO the RSPB are hot on the heals of anyone who shoot these birds while migrating, especially across Spain and the African nations who will kill and eat anyting

Maybe he is adding to the ones at Trafalgar dear chap :-/

Is that so Budgie can bring them down to scotch corner for us dear chap?
-
and what job are you offering him ?
Very high paid one in Trafalgar Square, they have been trying to loose 1000's of pigeons for years ;D
-
Budgie theres a job going down here for you if you want it
-
well when I get told officialy you will be the first to know, and as you are going on about telling things when it suits, why dont you explain to the members why when you were assisting to control the birds last year that the race control team made the decision to liberate at scotch corner last year and lose 1,0000's of birds, been over a year now and not a word came from any of you to the members , so are you going to say anything about that or were you told not to say anything about that either, the difference between you and I is that I can say openly what MY OPINION IS . will you ever openly comment on that race now that you are here on this forum. ?
Maybe this needs an open an honest investigation chaps, 1,000's of birds are a lot to lose in one liberation :-/

Was he out flying in thes terrible conditions? Strange name for a pigeon "Budgie" any wind would be a hazzard for you I may say. Is your race controller called "Canary" Strange habits you Scotsmen have

funny you should say that the late great davie angus of symington at winter time had to use a brush to sweep out all the puddles in his loft that was left by rain and snow ,out in a field it was open to all kinds of weather and when it came to national races had a record second to none he did win the national cant remember what one with town foot good boy a mealy cock ,closed in lofts are only to suit the fancier and make ten nice and cosy to them the pigeon dont care as long as he is getting fed and fresh water
So what happened to the theory of a dry loft everybody goes on about. Are they talking rubbish. Always led to believe it was important
help please
