Chickadee, my mum, put the wrong fuel in the van so her and DOVEscot are stuck on the forth road bridge. He dosent know if he will be home in time for the end of the biddingof the white busshart so i am going to be taking over for now. At the moment he is talking to an rac twit about what happened.

I don't plan to keep just four birds, as I said when the new loft is built i am going to have more. I have had a great response for some young birds from a number of racing men all over, but no matter how much I have I would be lose them all in one day :-/

That's ok if you are established but as a complete novice where do you stand a chance, no looking to win but after training would hope to get them back What about all the good experienced fanciers that lose birds and good birds that are lost?

As you all know I am new to racing having only four birds, with the promise of a few young ones once new loft is built, is it worth it when I hear stories of birds getting lost all the time I find it scary to start or to proceed when this sort of thing is highlighted especially then 1000's are lost in one release Can anyone comment or reasure me please

Hey DOVEScot looks like quite a big loft but i still dont think it will be big enough to house all our birds. Each bit is quite small. ;D
