The pigeon was bred by John Sparey from Newport and was one of three he gave Dai Evans to try out in 2009 YB season. Lets hope the bird makes a full recovery and goes on to score for him.

THE BIRD HAS NOW BEEN COLLECTED AND DELIVERED BACK TO THE OWNER BY 8AM THIS MORNING. THE PIGEON WAS WINGSTAMPED AND BELONGED TO A FANCIER LIVING LOCAL BUT WAS INJURED BY A HAWK ON ITS LEFT WING. THANKS TO RHIAN FOR BEING UP EARLY FOR ME THIS MORNING . I WILL THANK HER PERSONALLY LATER AND ADVISE THE BIRD IS SAFELY BACK HOME! Tenny

I had a pigeon in sunday. A lovely 5 yr old hen! Fancier said she been all over the continent for him and where was I racing from next week? I Told him salisbury! to which he replied thats not far from Grimsby! Can you send her there as a trainer he asked! I just looked on the map and its over 250 miles away from him ! 2nd prize he;s gonna have now! He be getting another phone call to arrange courier next week! Why lie and say im racing near grimsby?

Tom, do you think it is possible to put birdage alongside fanciers. for example 1st A N OTHER ( 1 OF 20) WHU ................ 1505.98 YPM 2nd SOMEONE (1 OF 15) WHU................ 1501.54 YPM 3rd A N OTHER (2 OF 20) GB..................... 1498.65 YPM ETC ETC..... Other nationals include this as it is nice to see how big the teams are when you evaluate a flyers performance. cheers Tenny
