Hi Guys I have just noticed a post in Members Photos that compares the various pigeon portrait photographers and it seems there is some confusion as to who photographs the pigeons on the Louella website. I have been lucky enough to photograph quality pigeons for Louella to advertise in the BHW but the pictures on the website are taken by another hard working gentleman who does not have the time to set them up as most professional photographers would have. Any photo I have taken past or present has always carried my name to avoid any such confusion, the same as do the other very good photographers working in the UK. In my opinion we have just lost the best of them, Mr Bolton, who set the standard for us all to aspire to. Hi Guys Just noticed this post and I would like to clear up a few misconceptions. Firstly any pigeon portrait photograph I do or ever did has always carried my name so there isn't any confusion. Secondly I have been lucky enough to do a fair bit of work for Louella for the British Homing World advertising, but the pictures on the web site are taken by a very hard working gentleman who photographs the pigeons for the for sale page on the web site and you are right, he does not have the time to set them up as I or any other pigeon photographer would have.
