  1. Expat1 I have no reason to doubt that you dont get paid from them, perhaps sponsored I said and if you do, then good look to you, you definatley stand be by your convictions and fair play, but my only gripe and not with you is that one company is so hell bent on UnivesBE, in Belgium its BE and other companies work with it, so if all have it and I am sure they can, then why do these experts not endorse it, there has to be a reason and I doubt its cash, not from the big guns anyway. As you seem to always be talking Bricon when there appear to be better systems on the market Brian says 'there are no conections on the Unikon Clock' What can be better than a clock with no contacts, nothing to break at marking! SOUNDS GOOD TO ME
  2. Expat1 you still have not answered the simple yes no question, I take it that the answer is a no, as just like a polatician you seem to be skirting around the simple answer. Any way enjoy your pigeons, if I offended you then I appologise, see what I cant understand is that the Million Dollar race can not afford to miss a bird so why would they use such a systemthat may have dead zone
  3. Expat1 Thanks for the PM I have forwrded it on to Unikon to see if they can through some light on this dead zone you keep on about.
  4. Expat1 I am not sure that I do know everything, this is why a simple yes or no would have done but you just seem to be telling everyone Bricon is best, are you sure that you are not sponsored by Bricon, because you still have not answered yes or no to the question, perhaps you are a politician or a spin doctor. the question is as simple as this is UNIVES1.7 the same comunication protocol UnivesBE, SURELEY THIS IS A YES OR NO QUESTION And before yo ask I dont sell the stuff have not got the stuff but will be having one next year, which I dont know, it toook me untill last year to get a T3 all be it it was second hand!
  5. Expat1 Mark Palmer said all the other systems work with UnivesBE in Belgium some one here has there wires crossed, and both of you that have them crossed bat for Bricon Please tell me is UnivesBE and Unives1.7 the same operating system and will work with the same software this is a simple question, so a straight yes or no will do
  6. i,m lost EXPAT so are you saying that UnivesBE is the same as Unives1.7 because if you are, then you should take your Bricon clock to Holland with Unives BE software in as it is in Belgium and your clock will not work, because it just like Apple Mac and PC based software are different, so is UnivesBE and Unives1.7 'BE' is not Unives with just a bit more on top, this is not Windows 98 or XP where software is upgraded, it is a totally different language to Unives1.7, that is approved by the RPRA. Any clock with UnivesBE in it according to RPRA will not be allowed according to the rules!
  7. Hi Expat1, thats good to see because ets is new in England I dont want to see us being sold down the river, however I have to correct you about your BRICON PADS because at the Demonstration in the North East I was told by the man from Belgium that the Bricon Anttenna have to be 1 meter apart from each other otherwise the do what you say start working against each other, I think this is something he said to do with the magnetic and radio fields used to read the rings. I will be going to the Unikon demonstration on Tuesday so will be able to see there pads there and will report back then, however at Blackpool the pads I saw there clocked the ring all over, I know this becasue I asked him to take it out the traps because I didnt believe him, he did and the ring read every where, and that was in the morning before I had been in the bar!
  8. Reading up on ETS while waiting for my late commers this afternoon, I see that the RPRA are saying units compatable with Unives 1.7 Yet as I understand it the Bricon system from Belgium are on Unives BE a different operating system is this a bit like a PC and an Apple Mac (Two entirley different operating systems) Reading ETS for beginners on the Bricon web site it would appear the Belgian system is not the same as Unives 1.7 that the RPRA have approved, be carefull lads, make sure the one you get has the Unives 1.7 or it will be like having an old Betamax video recorder,
  9. reckon mine get caught up in them coned areas on Saturday
  10. Well I was at the Bescot Show and the Dome, the Dome was a great venue, had to buy some trunks for the lad from Asda, he went swimming, I didnt fancy the ice skating. this venue has real potential, like Stuart says its a matter of attracting the trade stands but then you need enough punters for the trade stands to make a few bob, if I'm not working then it will be Wales for me and the lads, no kids this weekend, another jolly boyz
