Hi Rossi If you live in England you will not likely have a Bricon ETS with unives BE unless you bought it long before the RPRA had there meeting to decide which way they were going, if this is the case it can be altered to suit the 1.7 Bricon will send all ETS clocks over in the unives 1.7 mode as passed by the RPRA and it will be compatable with other systems What you should be asking is will ALL systems be compatable with each other in the form of using the unives 1.7 only time will tell I myself am very scepitcle about it all working together ,but unless there is a fortune teller among us and i cannot answer that myself. Hi Elvan Probably i should not get involved, But you can thank the NEHU for waiting. The RPRA was pushed though as you know down to pressure which would never have born fruit had it gone to court, That is the opinion of a very respected Lawyer over here Had the Powers to be told any Judge they would bring it in on the 1st Jan 2008 because they need time to make the rules No Judge would have said no' to them The NEHU is i expect thinking very carefully about what rules to bring in and they have time to implement them in the way it should be done without the pressure of being rushed. Hi The best Product over in Belgium for Canker (Trico) is a product called Trico Groen. Excellent stuff. We treated our Widowhood Cocks Last August and Tested Them with A Swab test about 3 weeks ago, A negative was the result so the product keeps it at bay a fairly long time. What it contains i cannot tell you but it does the Job, It cannot be got in the UK expat1

Hi Jack At last there is someone who believes me. Now i will be honest with you. I have never seen the Champ Clock, But In Holland they use the Unives 1.7 as you know But it does not run that smooth over there without another aid to assist them. Now what i am saying is this You Take your clock to a National Marking you will get all soerts of ETS clocks there. The Man Basketing will have to put into each and every clock maually the set up for the race etc That is right Manually. A time consuming jog. Now You will have the Clocks set on an antenna Known here as a Wand, All Clocks at that station will be set on the same Because you should all be programed in to the 1.7 But this is the crunch bit when you have the strike off at your own club the antenna may be differnt to the one you basket oon and there foore may not work. It is very complicated I think i have it right. Note With The Other system BE you use a Master and all this data of Race Programming is already there as i stated in my last Post You say the Companoies will not bother about Cost s They surely will To prduce all the Masters etc all the sofware all the Clocks and systems sold in the passed years That is the reason why they do not want to go the BE way Now I personally think its time to stop talking about What is best and what is not There is only a couple of Months to go before the Lads can test it out. By the End of Racing i expect these Pages on this Forum to be Bussing. Hi Charlie No' i do not agree with you at all, what are you saying that there are no cables connecting the antennas of the unikon system and the ETS clock does not connect to the unikon Pads or antennas On Bricon you have an Antenna with one single cable coming from it if that is all you use One Antenna then that cable connects to the Clock if you have say three antennas each has a single cable to connect to another You will find out in due course, The way you lads talk is you do not expect any problems , That is something you will get no question about it Incidently My ETS Pads and Cables have been installed all winter in the loft. The Pads have had all the weather regarding one hell of a lot of rain on them because no matter what you do the way they are situated they can get wet. about 2weeks ago we let the hens out for a fly the first time since last August i connected the clock to the single cable a 30second job it read training mode with all six pads working and in came the hens and not one missed clocking Now as we have 6 pads in six sections we use only the smallest Bricon Pad in each All worked perfect. Also note for flyers with OPe Door Trapping the Small Pad can be used in the loft as the Pigeon lands in his nest box just hold the pad underneath the floor of the box he is standing on and it will clock the pigeon in But Then all you posting to me are anti Bricon so there is no point me saying anything more Charlie Make your own choice which is the right thing to do. as will all the other LAds here But you take all the Famous Fanciers in Belgium what system do they use and many have also given up there old system in favour of Bricon Van elsacker was one Herbots was another, Now Top Fanciers such as these Guys if they use a ETS system if it works well enough they would not change it for another would they. Hi Brian You are not correct. I asked you to put the same on the Forum, I asked you, its not like someone passing your email that you wrote to them and passing it over intact however if thats his way of doing things not much i can do, but to be more careful who i reply to in PMs and who i trust in the future certainly not my way of doing things Now to get on th Unikon being the only one to be able to time in more than one race because you leave a part or module behind at the loft. Bricons little Speedy does the same And the Little bricon has another Part called the Duo this will enable you to time in on around 18 races you just connect up the duo and if say you have a Sprint Race take the Bricon Clock to the club once finished bring it home connect up one lead and thats it. As to other makes of ETS i do not know As for Bricon Paying me Whatever i say to you or Jack you will believe what you want to. Its sad when you expect people to believe what you say but cannot accept there word as being true I purchased Bricon after a Demo by Francis Nolmans who i had never met prior, This was atter a Demo by a Unikon Agent over here but he did not excatly tell me the truth until i pressed him so that system was out for us Mr Nolmans races local to us and I got to know him then Plus the System he sold us has worked Perfectly for the two years we have used it I do know a lot of Famous Fanciers over here have changed there ETS to Bricon, I am not knocking any system it is the way it is being used in the UK i cannot understand . Plain Fact is it will cost more money for companies to adapt to the unives BE Now Bricon being Belgian already has spent the money developing it But they also can go the Dutch unives 1.7 it makes no diffderence to them at all. It is the fanciers type of racing in England where they considered the Belgian way more suitable for the english. But this is all talk in vain its been passed and you and the Other Lads over there will have to go along with it. Hi Jack. First i hope you have contacted Bricon to see if i am being paid by them Now we will get onto the Unives 1.7 and Unives BE. 'NO' it is not the same and we will take this system the Unives 1.7 first What it means if i have it correct is that you take your pigeons to a race marking, lets say a National Race Marking The Basket person will have an Antenna, from this antenna he will set up your Clock, Now as all ETS clocks are different and i expect have a different way of working this person putting the pigeons through to basket them will firstly have to press some buttons on the clock he has connected to the antenna to put that clock in Basket Mode. Now if say, and we know all ETS clocks are different that same Basket Person must be able to be familer with all types of ETS clocks to do this plus to my mind is time consuming Basicly this is how i understand it. Now we will take this system a step more, Lets say the Whole Club has the same clock then it presents no problem but we all know this will not be the case in most clubs or federations or National Making Stations Now we come to unives BE What this means is that you use a Master Clock to Basket the Pigeons All the Person who is putting the pigeons through does is to connect the clock of any make to the MASTER Clock, He then only has to hold the Chip ring on or through the sensor and put the pigeon in the race pannier. He does not touch the fanciers clock by having to press any buttons to put the clock into basket mode It is The MASTER that has done this On the unives BE i can pass a pigeon to the Person Basketing my pigeons before i can get a second pigeon out of the basket to pass to him he has his hands out to take the next pigeon its that fast. On Last Saturday evening i timed one Fanciers pigeons being put though the Master they race marked 39 pigeons in no more than three minutes Now If all are compatable and they can be if the companies want them to be, its a matter of tweaking the software, You only need ONE type of Master at any one Club ,Any one Federation and at any one National Making Station So what is the best method I think i have covered it, Its everyone to choose which system they want The only thing i have said from the beginning is that the the English should have gone the Unives BE for the reasons above so much simpler for the fancier the race markers and the Secretaries, But its not to be You Go the Dutch way and Time will show what is what. Hi Jack I have just been looking at a Unikon Advert BHW March 2nd In this advert Unikon State and Show there Pad and they term it the Ring Sensor, and they state that it Has no dead Zones and Clocks over the entire surface. I cannot despute what they have put into Print The Pad is the same style as i have in a draw of My living Room and when the Unikon Agent came here to do a Demo for us he said it had a Dead Zone unless a Partition was installed. It seems that although the Pad is Similar in Looks to the Picture in the BHW the Firm must have Modified it since it was Demontrated in My home some two years ago Expat If i am wrong then i do not mind owning up to the fact

Jack if you put a partition in the Pad you will not get a dead Zone, but Bricon do not need partitions And I am correct in saying all pads have an area where the Electronics are and no chip ring will work over that. We will here what Unikon Says. And I have tried to Contact them direct on several occasions with no luck This to do with our racing over here Perhaps you can give me there phone Number. Hi I have been asked by one posting fancier on here how much am i being paid for telling you in good faith what i know about the ETS and which in my opinion is the best having used it in Competition now for two years and had feed back on every ETS system on the market from the Belgian, Dutch and German Fanciers and my own experinces with some of them, Now my point is this i have told you good people in a honest way. can now two of the Fanciers here who have commented on my postings give me a straight answer to this question and this question is to Dougie and Poacher. Hi Jack As you seem to know everthing there is to know about ETS perhaps you will put me right on this In Germany Fanciers can only belong to One Club, In that club that say you yourself want to join, use Unikon. Good' All the club then use unikon and have a Unikon Master so everything works well. But say at the end of the Year You'Jack do not like that club and want to move over to another club this club uses Bricon . This means you have to sell your Unikon and Buy Bricon Because the Whole of the Club uses Bricon and a Bricon Master. So you get my drift Plus in Germany there are no true Nationals only what the fanciers call them that The Only other Racing the Germans can compete in is International races Much the same for Holland There is Software Done By combustang which works over in Holland to 95% to bring all clocks to work in Co, I am sure i have this right i will think of the Proper Name and let you Know Now in Belgium at the beginning of the Year Every Clock Company have to Produce One Clock or Clocks if they have more than one Like Bricon and Unikon Plus One Master. All Clocks must work compatable with each and every clock and Master, But remember it is only one they have to produce, So in Essence we can say that all Clocks in Belgium Are Compatable and work okay with each other. They Do NOT. and it is a matter of tweaking the software but some ets comanies do not want it plus it will cost them more money. I can tell you one of the Major ETS companies was up for sale a year or so ago Not Bricon i may add, But they changed there mind after the news got out that it was to be sold in England And i will not mention which one it was This is why i said the way for the RPRA is to make sure each and every Clock and Master work fully with each other, Surely the best way to go for the English Racing.better for you the fancier, better for the secs better for everyone Fanciers in England will buy there own choice of Clock as you have done so lets say in your club you have Four different makes of Clock. Are you going to have Four differnt Club Masters which work differntly to each other. Then Your Fed Are they going to be able to cater for all makes of Masters Then the National Markings are they going to cater for every type of Master. This is what i am getting at. Hi Brian I am pleased that you put your private email to me in the ETS Page at my request, so all can read it. You Ask do i get paid by Bricon as i have been over to England with them Firstly. WHY' do some of you think so badly of others like myself Yes' I am Steve Patrick of Brothers Patrick. and NO' i have never been paid one penny for anything i write about including Bricon. I get in the post or Emails nearly every week Very unsavoury letters some swearing and cursing at me then no name or address. There are many fanciers in England most who do not know me would never ask suc h a Question, They appreciate what i tell them and I will continue to do so, simply because i love helping people. When it comes to Pigeons I had the best Tutor a fancier could possibly have and i was a lucky fellow. I learned a lot and over 50 plus years in the sport have learned a lot more, My Tutor never thought twice about learning me or giving me advice So i do the same to the best of my ability to help others who need it and i am proud to say over the years it runs into many hundreds of fanciers But i enjoy doing it You say why do i wish to go over to England when i have left it If you read my articles at all. We went over to Compete on equal terms with the Dutch Belgian French and Germans in the Long Distance International Races and when i moved over i was coming up 64 years old now 66 years old. It takes a fair bit of Bottle to do itat that age then to put into Print The Good things and the Bad things I tell the readers as it is No elabotaing or holding back Oh ' I tell you a Lie. THe BHW pay me £35 for each of my monthly articles and i never asked for it including the Photos i take and when except for this year when i now have a digital Camera the Costs of taking the photos and getting them Printed in the shop was not cheap was not cheap I went Upnorth to a Moot organised by Coliin Surtees He asked Me to go on it and i jumped at the Chance I have never had a proper conversation taliking about pigeons for near on 3 years and i know Many of the lads up there having been going up there for 35 years or so. It was a good night and Bricon Gave a Demo at the same time, but i kept away from it and watched with the lads Two Weeks later i went back to Somerset to a venue only one mile from our old House. A chance to see my 74 and 86 year old Neighbours before they pass on, Plus all the Mates i left behind in the Local Clubs The Next day we on to Cockfield Club at West Durham where i used to Stay Going up twice a year to see my friends So it was a rare treat for me although we covered 2,200 kms that weekend Driving So to answer yor Question again do i get paid. Not one Penny all the Pigepn Products i tell fanciers about i pay the same price I mention Corn Suppliers we use I pay the full price Just bought 2 bags of Beyers Prenmium Breeder and One Bag of Super Widowhood and 5kg of Super Engery Cost to me 47.46 euros full price but i will in my writings tell fanciers how i feed and what i feed But that is it Remember Brian When i write my articles i am writing only about our life over in Belgium I do not put race results of others to make up the space Now to get back to my trip over to Somerset and Up North. We stayed on the Saturday night at the Old Down inn a place 364 years old I paid the Bill the next morning for two rooms bed and breakfast in Pounds Sterling for Both of us. After the Demo We went to dinner and i took the Bricon Director to our local fish and Chip shop already booked a table by our friends from home. Poacher I have said twice now overlapping pads do not work or pads next to each other. unives 1.7 chosen by the RPRA is of course what it will be at least for 2007 UnivesBE is a fully compatable All ETS systems passed by the RPRA will operate with Unives 1.7 BUT. Only Bricon will operate on both systems It is proven fact over in Belgium. Last Year a Unikon Master Blew up trying to set my Bricon Clock The Tipes Master would only set Tipes Clocks The Bricon Master will SET all Clocks, Fact As i said you pays your money and Hope for the best Lets al,.l now wait and see. I for one am not really involved with the englisgh Side now, But i give advice because many of the Lads do not have a clue and if i can help them so well and good expat1

Hi Poacher You will have to section off the Unikon antenna and you will only have the two fileds as i have already said and if you do not section off the fields you will lose pigeons being race timed, and that is Fact' Never the less we can talk on until the time comes when all will be revelled. So i myself cannot keep repeating myself It is every mans right to buy the ETS system he wants, and good liuck to those who choose correctly Had the RPRA gone for full compatability then it would have not mattered what system one bought they would all work as one, But at the monent they will not. Hi Jack Thank You. You do not have to correct me because if you read my post again you will see that i have said that if you put two pads together they will not work. Just as Mr Nolmans told you at the demo Up North and If that Demo you went to was at Fencehouses, or Cockfield west Durham Then i was at Both Demos. I will not tell you or any Englgishman any lies. or untruths. That is why i tell you. I do not need to, But we had Problems over here with other ETS systems not being Compatable and i would like to try and see it avoided over in England Beause the way they race is completly different system to the Dutch and German way. They more so in Germany do not need full compatability Dutch do not But the English will find out they will If they do not then Fanciers will not have Choices and the English Style of Racing will eventually change

Hi Jack Bricon is FULLY compatable with unives 1.7 and with full Compatability The problem is the others are only up to using unives 1.7. not full compatabilityYou will see what i mean in time. Plus remember all the Pads of all other makes of Pad, Antennas have to have a dividing piece between the Live Fields No matter what is said in print this is true. The only one which does not need a dividing piece is Bricon I.E all other Pads say with two field witll only time in two pigeons at one time simply because there is only room on those pads for one pigeon to stand Bricon has no dead fieds and pads they sell number Four different sizes, With i repeat no dead zones. The RPRA has said three pads per loft which is best a two antenna pad or a choice of four pad sizes. Note IUnikon only has one pad and that is a two field antenna I havve had one in my home for the last two years and thjey are still the same.In time we will dsee who is telling you the truth PLus take note if you have a pad with two fields you will not be able to put another pad the same right next to it to make it a four field, because one will interfer with another being so close.Do not listen to some of the sellers if you do then you will pay the price later on. Notice Bricon never mentions another ETS system unlike others. When we moved over here to Belgium i had a rep come from Unikon. He talked for one hour about other sysyurems without mentioning his own when i asked him to show me the ETS he had not bought it with him afte going back home he retuned with a Pad the same one in my house today. After in asked him to tell me about unikon system He told me the Pad had no dead fields and did not need a partiotion . Since he left i found out different it did have dead zones and did need a partition. I then got Bricon to come He talked only about Bricon no other system so we bought Bricon And we have used it for two years The Unikon Master will not set the Bricon Clock the Tipes Clock will not set the Unikon or Bricon Clock the Bricon Master will set all MAKES of ETS I have seen it working. in our own club before i moved here they had Tipes Now they hire a Bricon Master to set all makes of ETS clocks Plain Fact But do not take any notice of what i say to you. Vic You do not have to buy ETS nor does anyone else who does not want too. I mention certain things because i do not want the English Lads Caught. there is probably another way of putting it a little more subtle but it means what it says. The way the system was bought in is not my cup of tea Whatever anyone may say. If it had gone to court No;Judge in the world would have forced it to be used this year once told they need 6 months to get the rules up together it could have come in from Jan 2008. Plus the main concern is what option the powers to be have bought in with the Dutch universal 1.7. I for see many problems arising from this In my opinion the Full Compatability had to come to England It is the way of English Racing which Makes this the best solution. Sarcasam will make you a popular fellow i am sure. I have done my bit to sort the problem out The Only thing i am guilty of is having a website which got invaded. I have said i am sorry. What do you want Blood, I write this and to be honest i do not feel happy about what has happened. I will not jusify my pigeon Career to you or anyone to pick holes in I do not need to simple fact it will stand against anyone and i am proud of the pigeons we have owned. Hi First of all Roland , I am not one of the Big Boys, I am an ordinary pigeon Fancier who has flown well over the years, But that is all. I do not consider myself to be better than the next Guy and because i have raced well for a long time the name gets noticed, No fault of mine But we were bought up in a family of ten children and respect everyone, we are as i said ordinary people Not Big Boys or to put it in the way it is meant, Better or higher up than others. No Sir/' that is not us two brothers Everyone on this forum has been very good about this except Vic, I have said now several Times that My Computer is Okay My Computer in my house is not a problem at 4.30 this morning i put on a full Virus Scan again for the second time in as many days plus the Automatic one a couple of days earlier. No Problems, I have the most up todate Norton Program it is possible to buy Vic is saying in effect that i am sending out emails containing a virus. When i have said that i have not sent anyone on this forum one single Email from my home computer except in reply to Vics two Plus i have said i have no ones email address in my Diary or address book on the computer so how can i send out emails containing virus. Dougie has saiid he picked it up on our old Website, So what is Vic going on about, He certainly does not believe what i say, and to be honest i do not like being made out to be a lier. Vic, this is for you Put up or shut up. i have had enough of your drivel. If you think i am speading a virus from my home computer then take action i have given you the phone number of our Police Use it. Or take whatever action you think fit. Hi Roland I assume that a persons email address names have to be in the diary in the first place I can tell you that no one on this forum is in my computer diary simply because i have not contacted them. And i repeat yet again IT is my old Website that is causing this problem not my home computer. If any of you joined My Forum on my old Website .com then it may be the case but this i do not know as many use differnt names But i can tell you it is not from my own home computer none of you have been sent emails by me and none of you are in the address book. Albear You keep refering to my Computer or the anti virus system on it. It is from my old Website the problem is occuring, not from emails sent out from my personal computer and i have sent out to my friends some forty mails in the last two weeks and had replies from them no bother at all. As i said ii have done a full scan last night and an automatic scan a few days ago. There was No Problems both times and i have never had a problem with it. I have repeatedly told this forum that i have not mailed anyone from my home computer except Vic in a reply to him How many times do i have to say it. I do not know any one on this forum and i think i have posted more in the last couple of days than i ever put on before I may not be a wizard on computers but nor am i stupid. If my system tells me i have no problems then who in this world with a computer can trust the anti virus systems they have no one at all. Plus when i have not sent out these mails, and remember it is from my old website which is causing the problem it is the guest page which contains the rubbish Again what do you and others wish me to do Break up my computer which is new. Buy another One, Use a Anti Virus and then it will be no differnce to the one i break up, or will it It will tell me i have no problems but can that be believed This Goes for all computer owners every where This of course will not happen I have no intention of destroying it But some of you keep refering to my home computer or the virus system on it as if i am sending out the mails from here and that certainly is not the case. Hi Albear and All I have never visted Porn Sites so that will not be the problem. When you have a guest page it is open to all as we have found out. But i do not only want to remove the guestpage but the entire website which cost me a lot of money to be done but if this is the best way to solve it, then that will be done. I have now decided to Drive to the Persons House who did the Website for me It is 75 Miles each way but i will go tomorrow morning. If he is at work i will leave a letter in his Postbox explaining the problem, There is not a lot more i can do Steve
