The reason I posed this question, was because I believe most of the entries will be early bred youngsters, therefor by the time the races come around, they will be matured, so much so that they will pair up. So will they be seperated by sex? if not, will hens lay? Therefor this is why I prefer to send cocks, because I believe you win both ways :-/

I have entered 2 birds into a one loft race, they are accepting birds, from February up untill April, my delema is that I will have 2 ideal candidates ready in 2 weeks time, but I am unsure as to whether it would be better, breeding 2 more off my next round for this entry.
