Its essential that our interaction with the general public is a pleasant one , please and thank you cost nothing and these people have actualy took it upon themselves to try to help someones bird , all my neighbours take intrest in my birds and are quite amazed how they come back from many miles to home , and watch how quick they come in its great to keep the neighbours happy and also shows a better side to the sport if only to a few

if ring leg check to ensure no grains are between ring and leg , it may have knocked it bruised it , or if feeding too much protein it may have gout feed more barley

do your home work , haggle , and check with goverment bodies i.e defra on rules of bring birds in from other countrys i know here all you need to do is notify your bring birds in and have vet check them as fit to travel , im sure there be fanciers in your area that travel often and will know the rules
