i would say after youve treated , make sure the loft is clean with plenty of fresh air, most common problems occur ,with too many birds and lack of fresh air

another thing ive noticed if you take the young squabs away 5,6,7 day old, the pair are driving and nesting the next day, but take their mate away and theyll mope for a few days

training 2 weeks b4 the first race would be ok but here in scot we can sometimes get bad weather i,e in edinburgh we can get that mist off the sea if the wind is in the east, so would prefer to train them, b4 that if the weathers right, as you never can tell

if the parent birds have sat on the eggs and started to incubate them, the eggs would not last more than a day or two, but if their layed and never been sat on [never started incubating] the eggs will last a couple of weeks if turned regular,and kept on the cool side
