Central Southern Classic Flying Club PAU OPEN RACE Update Friday 26th: Liberation was at 6.30am into broken cloud with a light North breeze. Temperature was 20 degrees. They cleared the site in one batch heading North West. The forecast is for broken cloud for the first 100 miles then clear through France with sunshine and a light breeze mainly from the West or North West. Temperatures are not as high as yesterday in the very low 30's. Isolated storms may occur in the early evening. We all know it will be a hard race given the weather conditions and the small number of birds. I want to thank Pat and Steve our convoyers for the way they have stuck at it, without complaining, during the present heatwave with temperatures of 40 degrees it can't have been pleasant at times. I wish you all the best of Luck. Clive
