Guest spin cycle Posted July 20, 2009 Report Posted July 20, 2009 They fly out and tumble Jim thanks...perhaps i'll make some space and have some one day
Guest scoobybob Posted July 20, 2009 Report Posted July 20, 2009 I'm sorry I have taken so long to reply but got overloaded with PM's I belive I have now given away all the Wefts. The silvers are just to big to fly for long they are just show stock they walk round the roof and fly from garden to loft roof but thats about all. I used these as droppers for the tipplers. Shame my tipplers got ate by the hawks which just left the wefts which the hawks don't seem to bother with. The younger wefts fly way up with the tipplers and will tumble now and then but not to often. They are however always sitting on there tail just like the start of the tumble.
PigeonClarke Posted July 20, 2009 Report Posted July 20, 2009 Nice looking birds. Are they from Trevor D's bloodline?
Guest scoobybob Posted July 20, 2009 Report Posted July 20, 2009 Nice looking birds. Are they from Trevor D's bloodline? I bought them off a very old gent from Kingswood in Bristol. He had hundreds of um and just did shows so the birds had never flown. However there youngsters do fly and fly very well. The older birds just wounder from garden to loft. I only bought um for droppers. Seems all my tipplers got ate which left me with a shed of droppers... ;D
