steve d Posted July 8, 2009 Author Report Posted July 8, 2009 Thank you for your generousity Don I am overwhelmed at all the responses I recieved thank you all :) :)
Guest HighSpeedLofts Posted July 8, 2009 Report Posted July 8, 2009 find yourself a peregrins nest you will get all the rings you want
Guest HighSpeedLofts Posted July 8, 2009 Report Posted July 8, 2009 No, just for collecting I believe these ones are really old old aluminium ones got to be worth something
Guest HighSpeedLofts Posted July 9, 2009 Report Posted July 9, 2009 Sorry Folks--those OLD rings are worth "zero" to serious collectors. We just swap rings back and forth with each other- No Buying or Selling-we are a World Wide group.AND Yes we have a few "deadbeats" along with a few "SCAMMERS" that have sold rings on e-bay that we have sent them for their collection.-BUT we also have a list of their names and some of the names we have assigned to them is not permitted on this site. how are they scamming by putting rings on ebay they state there selling the rings the buyer knows what there buying so wheres the scam in that
Guest HighSpeedLofts Posted July 9, 2009 Report Posted July 9, 2009 Scammers? Crooks? Deadbeats ?-they want rings for their collection--we send them 10-20 rings for their collection---they do not send any rings back for our collection-- but they do end up being sold on e-bay.-----Maybe Highspeed lofts can explain 'SCAMMER" better than I can-or have another name for them. you shouldnt trust people on the internet you dont know so thats your problem and its hardly the scam of the century is it sell yours on ebay if you keep getting ripped off
Guest HighSpeedLofts Posted July 9, 2009 Report Posted July 9, 2009 Highspeedlofts is correct--I am wrong-- trying to help other new ring collectors get started in this hobby. Some pigeon people are trying to keep some type of history going about pigeons. My collection is kinda small--about 3800 different rings from 80-85 different countries. My oldest ring is a 1944. Highspeedlofts--any rings you can/will send me will stay in my collection and my collection will be sent to the "World of Wings" musuem in Oklahoma City ,Oklahoma when I am gone and I am 73 y/o. http://www.pigeoncenter.org theres a ring on ebay from 1893 its only £1.95 now thats got vto be worth selling
steve d Posted July 11, 2009 Author Report Posted July 11, 2009 Thank you to Allenyeates for the rings I recieved this morning, top man and kept his promise thank you :)
