Garden Lime

Hi All,

 

Is it still ok to use garden lime mixed with wallpaper paste to paint the loft walls etc as I know I have in the past which helped in keeping all the lice , red mite etc, or nowadays health wise bad for the birds and me in the long run.

I believe garden lime is ok is wallpaper paste just a thickener in the mixture
