THE FIFER Posted August 22, 2014 Report Posted August 22, 2014 Laura Fraser 09:42 (32 minutes ago)to fifernewsHi there, My partner and I Live in Muchalls, Aberdeenshire. We had a lovely lost blue barr racing pigeon in our garden for around 4-5 weeks, we noticed it had 2 green rings but only managed to get "NE14" so we looked after it before it dissapeared on Wednesday night at around 6pm. We did try to capture it so we could get the full ring number and contact the owner but it was too quick for us!!! We became quite fond of the bird and really wanted to try and find out if it made the journey home so I have been trying to contact pigeon owners on the off chance that we might be able to put an end to the story or it the owner no longer wanted it, we would be happy to adopt it! Could this have been one of your birds? Do you know any other people I could try? Many thanks, Laura & Mark
