Guest Posted July 10, 2009 Report Posted July 10, 2009 I'll agree to disagree on the Gurnos bit but of course with respect. I hold the loyalty of a tight knit community far higher than an array of people from all corners of the country with their own hidden agendas in a completely light but that's just my opinion. I don't subscribe to myths nor do I try and stir up trouble, I've been on too many committees in my time to subscribe to that waffle. I just speak as I find and I find that on many points the RPRA as a representative is no way run by its members, if it was it would be doing a lot more than it is about many problems the fancy face. I think we'll just have to agree to disagree on this one Alun with no malice thought on either part. Sorry, was not I promise suggesting you were stirring up trouble, I was referring to the small band that you get in any organisation that will try to. Yes agree to disagree I have no problem with respecting genuine views which I appreciate your is. The Gurnos I don't believe is such a tight knit community these days, may be wrong, but when you have barbed wire around shops metal pointed fence around the Club, does not smack of tight knit. As to the RPRA, the RPRA is run by its members; if they want, its member apathy that creates the position we are in. That is not the fault of anyone but the members. The problem is we all come on to forums like this and give our opinions, how many have been to their local RPRA meeting , how many even bother to send a club rep to the meeting, 5%,10%?? These forums are fantastic for all of us who would like to live near Hyde Park but not often of much practical use. The only things I can think that such forums have done today, is to create new market places for pigeon sales, good advertising spots for pigeon businesses and excellent for charity fund raising and good for making friends and enemies ;D

Game set and match to you.
