Who regulates One Loft Races?

All races should be licenced which would have been issued by whichever union they are affiliated to!

 

I am right in thinking that a lot of the problems people had with the Europa Classic was because it wasnt run under RPRA or WHU rules.

I think there was over £25K paid out last year and this is the first person I have heard saying that they did not get paid out. Saying no one was paid out last year is bull sh**.  Most of the names that were in the race last year are back this year do you think they would be back if thay had not been paid?

 

 

Think you might have the wrong 1 loft race it was Andy Galley the former owner of Pigeon chat that ripped everyone off and did not pay up last year in his one loft race.

Originaly nobody would give them a licence, they said they were going to race anyway with or without a licence so i think they were granted an RPRA licence.

John I know about the pigeonchat one loft race I was 3rd in that race and as far as I know im the only man that got paid and that was only because I had someone call to his house for the money. I am not saying this guy is not owed £150 form john boyd I am saying that it is bull sh** to say no one was paid out by John last year.

It probably is crap that no-one at all got paid but do you know that for a fact?  Also what does this have to do with the original post?  It asked if anyone knew who regulates one loft races, perhaps if we keep this on topic the OP will get his answers and we don't all end up throwing mud about and airing our grievances about other one loft races that people had problems with, hopefully this can all get sorted out amicably once and for all and those concerned can get on with their business.

Don't really catch your drift here m8 but Just a wee update on all of this.

 

John Boyd was phoned by my representative and openly told him that there was no chance of me getting paid what is owed to me, and was cocky enough to say that I'd have to take him to court to get it.

 

Knowing you will read this John your defence that you're now not paying me because I  posted on a forum wont work and shows you for what you are. Fact is John, no matter whether I post on here or any other forum or in the homing world or any other newspaper the fact remains that you still owe me the prize money you accepted I won.  Looks like the only way to get your prize money from this race is to apply to the courts which can't be good for business?  

Will keep you all updated on what happens but one things for sure I will get my money and Mr. Boyd will get a judgement against him, one thing for certain to come out is how much exactly has been paid out because I will be asking the court to see if I'm not the only victim.

I heard stories about the emerald classic race last year similar to mcclaff from people that are still owed money from last years races. most of them did not enter any birds this year. good luck in trying to get the money owed but fanciers should stay well away from these conmen. and a letter to the bhw would show them for what they are.............
