frank-123 Posted December 4, 2009 Report Posted December 4, 2009 fed up hearing it as well split the money give the members free dues until the fed is down to its minimum financial requirement say £20,000 left in the bank gareth rankin and some others have put a lot of work into this over the last few years but on the whole there is an undercurrent in the fed that is dead against it so lets back the ones against it spend the money on the members

frank-123 Posted December 4, 2009 Report Posted December 4, 2009 Time and Patience Frank ,big Gareth someday will get his wish. aye when defra condemn the transporter not fit to carry pigeons most likely half way through a season
Delboy Posted December 4, 2009 Report Posted December 4, 2009 aye but the membership will vote for it when i propose it next year no doubt about it no use lying in a b ankers account True, but this is not just Lanarkshire fed m8. The whole of the pigeon fancy has the same apathy. The majority of fanciers are only interested in getting things at the cheapest price possible, living only for today and having no thought for the future. Talk of putting fees up to purchase a new vehicle would make most of them shake and yet they proceed straight to the pub to spend a fortune, straight after the meeting.

Delboy Posted December 4, 2009 Report Posted December 4, 2009 so lets live for just now lets spend the money now Spend the lot and apply to the Midland fed ;D ;D ;D
Guest bigda Posted December 4, 2009 Report Posted December 4, 2009 we will be having a meeting, and then the delegates will inform you all of the way we plan to go forward, hopefully we will have all the members on board, to ease the case as a few got a fright, when money was mentioned, we have done OK in the past when calling for help, we might decide, on sales, gold rings, raffles, transport design might be the name of the game, but with 10,000 birds, we have to try and please every one, there could be a bird restriction for a year or two, as the way forward will dictate that, and as some say if a Bann was implemented by defra, restrictions would certainly apply £90,000 is not hard to spend and remember just because we got £4.00 on the subscription don't mean we qualify right away for a transporter, a few good men, will be needed before we get to that stage :o
Guest bigda Posted December 4, 2009 Report Posted December 4, 2009 what we would like from all you guys out there, is to find out who the local company that is thinking of making aluminum baskets come crates, as that would be a start some one must know

Guest bigda Posted December 4, 2009 Report Posted December 4, 2009 Have you got a definite date for a meeting and will something be sorted or will it be a case of meeting up and slabbering about all the possibilities of raising cash or will it be a case of what if lets wait till next year :-/ think is has gone on to far now, you sound keen in helping out and i would like to hear your opinion, as to move forward there is money i believed tied up but that releases in July as far as i know, the delegates would keep you right there once we have the members backing we will not be shy in asking fabricators, to come up with there best price, if we go for one well the money it generates from that goes to wards another and so on there is three sections and one transporter will not be enough but we will have to start some where but should we get it i think it could make or save the fed £10.000 a year which is more than we amass just now
Guest bigda Posted December 4, 2009 Report Posted December 4, 2009 get three of these one for each section but maybe get the body to come of
