Guest Posted October 3, 2006 Report Posted October 3, 2006 Here is a yearling hen I won two races in Godalming DFC with this year, and she was also my 3rd in the clock from the London and Southeast Classic Club Wadebridge. I call her the jealous hen because she was having a bit of aggro with another hen over the same cockbird. Incidentally around the same period the other hen was my SMT Combine winner. Also a yearling "The Sparrow".
Guest CS Posted October 3, 2006 Report Posted October 3, 2006 Nice hens, mate..... What strain? Darren
Wiley Posted October 3, 2006 Report Posted October 3, 2006 being very hopeful or wishing lol that there lefebre dhanen and out of the cock i bought of him lmao well can i atleast wish!
Guest Posted October 3, 2006 Report Posted October 3, 2006 lol wiley not this time mate. The jealous hen is half Eric Cannon and half Van Berkel. The Sparrow is Meuleman x Marcellis out of my two best sprinters retired to stock at 3 years old. So far every youngster from them has either a club first or classic or national position. Now to boot a combine win. Great pair. Think as we like the old photo's and pigeon chat I will post the parents pics back in a mo.
Wiley Posted October 3, 2006 Report Posted October 3, 2006 well it was a stab in the dark lol,i can only try
Guest Posted October 3, 2006 Report Posted October 3, 2006 Sparrows Grand sire who is still producing winners. He is a 99 bird.

Guest Posted October 3, 2006 Report Posted October 3, 2006 Yeah I call em strawberry reds. don't what they should be called.
Guest Posted October 3, 2006 Report Posted October 3, 2006 All her sons are like it, I have a pastel mealy cock from her aswell.
Wiley Posted October 3, 2006 Report Posted October 3, 2006 boi thats one lovely looking pigeon mate,he done any good for you??his conformation and feathering look strong and silky am i right?
Guest Posted October 3, 2006 Report Posted October 3, 2006 certainly is wiley, won a couple of races inland - clocked in LSECC and NFC. Plus a couple top 20 combines. Only 2004 pigeon already bred winners now at stock. Have bunch of yearlings just like him coming through aswell as 3 2005 brothers that all won this year. So I can afford to strengthen the stock loft with him. Birds like him the reason I am outing my prisoners and having retired birds only.
