ghostrider Posted January 25, 2014 Report Posted January 25, 2014 I have some Big Soontjen stockcocks,As the years pass there legs get bigger! This is the second cock ive had to Cut a ring off, this morning,as it was cutting into his leg, stopping the circulation/blood flow.An hour later after his op he is back to his normal self.Ive noticed along with friends, over a few years the inside diameter of the rings get smaller All of this could be avoided if only they used there brains and made rings bigger!!!! Thanks for looking Atb
OLDYELLOW Posted January 25, 2014 Report Posted January 25, 2014 Hi mate the NWHU rings are 1/10th wider which are slightly bigger , like yourself most of my birds have bigger legs and I have to cut rings off , I have previously brought it up with R.P.R.A manager and still nothing been done .

It doesn't take a mastermind to know that pigeons legs are growing with age and need a bit more room. :emoticon-0138-thinking:
