the owners wife told me it was a hen bird..because i told her i had called him Henry.so she laughed and said i better change the name because he was a she.....so Honey was chosen............ ;D I kind of hope she returns to us.even though she isnt mine.i had got used to her .....oh well...free spirit maybe eh......

update..Honey has returned home............so glad for her but sad :(for me.i had taken a likeing to her,she was a lovely bird).........the owners were out all day yesterday so obviously didnt check the birds....and she was on his landing board this morning.................

I actually just called them to see if she had returned as because she didnt return last night and this morning to me i was worried for her..............anyway......one lucky girl and hopefully a happy one now she is back home.

My hotel is STILL OPEN TO STRAYS     ;D

She may well pay you another visit - she knows that you provide a good hotel!   I imagine that she was weak and lost. After all your care and feeding up, she regained the strength to go and search for home again. Thank you for looking after her.   Don't leave the forum, I've enjoyed your posts.

Just popped in to say hi ;Dto all,Honey stayed at her own home so i guess we have seen the last of her ...maybe the owners wont race her anymore....only time will tell..have a great day ya'll.......

Birdlady, birds been known to turn up a year or so after, believe me she not forgot you and one day something may just jog her memory!
