this is jacks very very favourite bird every morning I give him a pot of corn he used to throw it on the ground and the birds eating jack trying to catch them and they run away now he's 22 months old and getting A LOT WISER the pot is set on the ground birds on top of birds trying to get corn and jack always grips this bird believe it or not then he chases birds from the pot to feed this bird

anyway I know most of you are into racers but the fantails really really give jack and me a lot of fun and that for us is what its all about

hope you liked the pics micko

pic 002 what ould you call this bird and i dont mean maisy or anything like that i mean checker meally ??? mick

Looks like a dilute. Cant make out colour from photo but if both parents are black (spread blue ) and the youngster is a washed out slate grey colour then you have a Dun. Will be lovely when moulted into adult plumage. Nice birds Mick. Jacks a lucky lad having you as a gramp. Tell him I like the grizzle too. Have fun.
