Breeding also plays a part as some birds just can not be tamed no matter what amount of time you put in to them. Others are just naturaly tame from day one.

ill give you one and ive 3 people who can verify this ...i bought an m & d evans bird ...lovely blue cock ... he was very nervous ...i gave him 2 weeks still everytime i opened the door tried going over my head ... i let it flow for 2 more weeks ..i paid 200 euro for him ... then one day i walked in he had the birds up the roof ... he tried going over my head it was the last tim he ever tried to do that ... he had my birds on edge and none of them ever come near me while that bird was in loft...i would rather have no birds than have a bird like that ... its a pity but thats pigeon racing i suppose ... mikey

Spot on Mickey, can't stand it myself and I'm trying to breed it out the birds I have ( not racers ) and I'm getting there, slowly.
