Hi there. I have just signed up to this forum in the hope that I can trace the owner of a pigeon which has decided to make my house his rest stop.

I live in Portishead, Near Bristol.

I found the pigeon in my house yesterday morning. I directed him outside but he kept coming back in. The problem is that we have two cats, one of which is a major hunter. There are also many cats in my street. I locked my cats inside and the pigeon in our back garden in the hope he would fly away but he won't leave. I have since fed and watered him but he was still there by yesterday evening. I have to let my cats out so I managed to get him to walk into a pet carrier with some food and water and he has been in there over night in a dark room.

He seems to be in good health and can fly with no issues. I would really like to get him back to his owner ASAP. I am going on holiday in a few days.

I reported the ring details via the RPRA website and I received a confirmation email but it was blank! So I have no idea if they have received the info or not.

Any help greatly appreciated.
