Guest Steves Posted July 13, 2013 Report Posted July 13, 2013 I've just started with pigeons and I've been training my youngbirds twice a day from about twelve miles so far but I've been told that its too much for them. I wanted to get them up to thirty miles by the first yb race.Is twice a day too much?
Wiley Posted July 13, 2013 Report Posted July 13, 2013 It depends how you feed them, you cannot burn the candle at both ends, hard training heavier diet, light training lighter diet. The protein levels would be the biggest factor.
tiger Posted July 13, 2013 Report Posted July 13, 2013 it wont do them any harm ybs thrive on work ,jmo
