Looking through the results section some of the velo's are around 800/900's for the winning birds so some of the later pigeons will have put some work in.How does your management alter to cater for these birds? ie. are they rested during the week and maybe miss the next race? do you still let them exercise with your other birds? and do you change their diet? etc.

plenty protein and allowed to exercise with the rest if the pigeon want's too

However some pigeons bounce back a lot quicker than others, so really I would let your eye be the judge the days after the race progress. Often the doos longest on the wing one week is the first the next

Can't really give an across the board answer to this. Different birds take longer to recover than others. Can't go far wrong with rest and high protein diet for a few days. The bird will let you know when it's fit to race again. Observation and knowing your birds only comes with experience.
