eye's better but don't clutter the background up to much as it takes it away from a nice looking bird.

I agree, the bird is nice and sharp but the background does not do the eye sign any justice. jmo

I now have a 35mm macro lens which should improve my eye pictures dramatically. The eye looks a little washy as its cut out from the bird and enlarged slightly

I was meaning the colour contrast between the bird's eye and the background, jmo
