Any fancier who lives in the HD area post code of Huddersfield and your loft location is also within the HD post code boundary is invited to join the New independent club. The new headquarters are the Black horse pub Nettleton road Dalton Hudds. The club is looking to start racing in July with the young birds. The club will race inland only on the south west route starting at around the 50/60 mile mark progressing down Country to the south coast. Prior to that we are hoping to hold open races for the old birds on the Saturdays that the local federations are over the channel, marking Friday evenings and weather permitting again racing from the coast , these hopefully 4 races will be open to any fancier who lives within both the HD Huddersfield and HX Halifax post code areas. If things go well then a full Old bird program will take place in 2014. We have sponsorship money to help with transport costs etc. Our aim is to form a strong friendly club and bring the social element back into pigeon racing, with fairer racing and good money to race for, which will be shared out right down the result list.
