THE FIFER Posted December 29, 2012 Report Posted December 29, 2012 I think you will find there is different fittings for different cameras m8,
jake12 Posted December 29, 2012 Report Posted December 29, 2012 ok taI think I`m right in saying that that lens is for an upmarket (price) camera. I have an older 35mm one that has lenses like that. They seem to all be the same type of thread to screw them to the front of most cameras. Most of our digital cameras have fitted lenses where you can zoom in on the subject, and it may state " 3x zoom". These lenses can be interchanged for different siuations, to zoom in close to things like wildlife. There is a number of lenses for different jobs. I`m no expert but if you need any more on screw on lenses, my near neighbour is a keen photographer. Hope this helps. PS. Macro is for taking close ups of small things and most cameras have this facility built in. Set macro to take pics of flowers, bugs and possibly eyesign or anything where the pic is taken from a very close distance.
