Wiley Posted December 27, 2012 Report Posted December 27, 2012 Personally we like to bring them down with a barley or depurative mixture, then 7 to 14 days prior to pairing we will build them on a rising plain, increasing the depth of the mixture with a breeding mix. Once laid we'd go on a 50/50 basis, and 5 days before the first eggs hatch in the section they will receive 100% breeding mixture, to help with there nutritional value to produce there crop milk. Once hatched our breeders will be fed 4 times a day with 4 different mixes.
