OLDYELLOW Posted November 22, 2012 Report Posted November 22, 2012 very expensive , be better off adding some plastic
demolition man Posted November 22, 2012 Author Report Posted November 22, 2012 very expensive , be better off adding some plastic I agree about the cost but i don't think it will look as good, i was looking at 4 in each section, and if they do what i'm hoping! Would be money well spent:: :emoticon-0123-party:
OLDYELLOW Posted November 22, 2012 Report Posted November 22, 2012 with the over lapping it wont be enough imo
demolition man Posted November 22, 2012 Author Report Posted November 22, 2012 with the over lapping it wont be enough imo HOW MANY WOULD YOU SUGGEST IN EACH SECTION THEN? The loft is approx 20 ft long my big worry is a street light, that light up the garden
OLDYELLOW Posted November 22, 2012 Report Posted November 22, 2012 I've lights on at side of my loft from flats , lighting whole garden up birds still rest no bother at all , guess how many you need will depend on size of each section and where your getting the most sun from a Sheet of plastic towards bottom of roof will cost less to do a large square leaving first row or two at top of roof depending on height , you can always add a sliding false roof , so can slide so can block street light out and reduce sun in to loft as well , have seen a few lofts with this , I think one of Chris Vasey's lofts is like this .
adam owen Posted November 22, 2012 Report Posted November 22, 2012 which way does your loft face bern north south east ect ? if it was me I would have perspec sheet on the front 2feet from the front of the roof going to the top and then over lap the tyles on to it going to the remaining of the roof
