Guest geordiejen Posted September 24, 2012 Report Posted September 24, 2012 what is the benefit to the pigeon by giving it brewers yeast?in the previous post it mentions a few drawbacks of a high yeast count being connected to canker.or am i missing the point?ive started using it and give the birds one feeding a week on it.should i give them live yogurt the next day?
OLDYELLOW Posted September 24, 2012 Report Posted September 24, 2012 Brewers yeast is inactive , the only benefits is its vitamin content , never had a problem from canker or yeast using this product , everyone to there own

Guest geordiejen Posted September 24, 2012 Report Posted September 24, 2012 ive given the birds this one feeding a week and tried lemon juice which bound all the seed together, however next day the seed that was left in the mixing bucket had dried out and was fine.next question is the birds had eaten most of the seed but left some wheat should this be thrown out?can uneaten seed which has been coated in lemon juice and brewers yeast get mould if its left too long.this week i tried cod liver oil but feel lemon juice is best.
