Keeping Them Home

I have got a pair of pigeons and was wondering how long to keep them in for so they don't fly back?

I'm sure i read somewhere to let them have a round of chicks first

how far away is their old home, make sure the birds have plenty vision outside your loft so as to let them see the area. yes best if sitting young. would they go back to their old loft, if not take a pair of young birds off them first,

The old loft is only about 30 miles away,

yeah they would fly back there, i'll take some young off them first i think
