right lads and lass's just wondering how you choose which stock birds to keep and what ye get rid of! and how long do you give them to prove there breeding abilty!

if after 2 season with the same partner nothing of any worth they either get kulled or shipped out,

or if i think they have something special i will try them with another partner,

i do feel that stock birds that dont produce are better sent for others to try

as we had a hen who was brilliant racer but never breed a decent pigeon

so we decided to borrow her out when she was 6 save killing her

and my mate bred winner every year for 3 years till we had her back and she bred nothing again,

it just that some pigeons dont suit methods doesnt mean they wont suit others,
