Guest numpty01 Posted April 18, 2009 Report Posted April 18, 2009 never knew they run bus.s from certain parts of the vallys and to clarify a point if you were aware of the things in st fagans you would know there are two no three lofts there one from the fortys one from fiftys and one from 1985 which a top flyer donated to the museam along with all his pics of his top birds for the cottage he lived in :P
Guest Posted April 18, 2009 Report Posted April 18, 2009 What valleys you on about mate, lots of them in Wales, valleys stop at Caldicot where it flattens out. Not sure I've ever seen the museums your on about, any chance of the address I'd love to dwell on history.

Guest Posted April 18, 2009 Report Posted April 18, 2009 The hawking center is in five mile lane isn't it? See it every day on trip to Barry. Not one for specifics, just wondered what lofts you were on about, if they aren't the ones that I think they are then fine as the Eagles pose no threat.

Guest Posted April 19, 2009 Report Posted April 19, 2009 jarge ,.....................is the J R GREEN mr tracker ? Hi White Logan, no flies on you mate, mind you I have told enough people that it was agreed with admin that it wasn't a good idea to post with Pigeon Tracker any more as some obsessives felt the need to attack every post made by that name. I post as JarGre as my racing name after consultation with the owners as it allows me to post impartially as a pigeon owner and racer instead of anything else. Numpty, its called 5 Mile lane not 5 lanes, perhaps its you who needs to learn about geographics not me. ;D BOP fly around for miles there which is why I commented on the possibility of the eagle owl being from there? although not sure how close any lofts are, don't pay that much interest if I'm honest. Off to bed now, got first race of the season in morning, looking forward to trying to win.
Tenny Posted April 19, 2009 Report Posted April 19, 2009 Please see attached photo of one of the old lofts and a map and guide of st fagans. Double click on image and it should enlarge. Tenny
pjc Posted April 19, 2009 Report Posted April 19, 2009 I understand the lofts where set up there for demonstration purposes as its a living museum, a great place for the public to see the birds etc although some may think thats how lofts look now!
Tenny Posted April 19, 2009 Report Posted April 19, 2009 I thought the picture above was your new loft Paul? lol
Tenny Posted April 19, 2009 Report Posted April 19, 2009 Glorious sunshine! waiting for WELSH SOUTH ROAD LIB .....RHONDDA VALLEY UPDATE AFTER 9... COLD AT RACE POINTS I HEAR?
Guest Posted April 19, 2009 Report Posted April 19, 2009 Thanks for the pic of the WFM Tenny, not been there since a kid so looks well worth a visit. (Was this the one you were on about? Can't see the lofts... http://www.museumwales.ac.uk/en/stfagans/) Amazing what's on your own back yard and you don't know it. Good luck if your racing today, I am and keeping fingers crossed for good returns and a win if lucky.
