These are very good microscopes. They will do all you could want to do. You can find worms, cocci and hexamita in the droppings and canker and yeast in the throat swabs. You can see bacteria as well but it would be impossible to identify it because not even Vets can do that. If you decide to buy one of these the book by Colin Walker would be helpful in identifying the various conditions. I have also seen some good pictures on you tube.
