i think the Scottish BIRDS should not be flying from the south, this route has far to many problems i feel the west side from Scotland, should fly from a westerly direction, and libed from a boat out at sea at a distance of 100-400 mile and the east side guys fly from a boat in the east 100-400 mile. if we don't do this the birds will not make it home at all in less than 3 years. with the Lanarkshire having 3,000 birds in a race it is reckond that there are over 400 strikes per race as the birds make there way home.
