JOHNO DSLL Posted August 7, 2009 Report Posted August 7, 2009 hi our local rspca is aving 2 shut the doors on the kennels 4 dogs witch i think is so sad cus they had 2 av a dog of ours just wondered if could do a auction or sale 2 try make money 2 keep it open as there is abanded dogs everywhere i wunt no how 2 mgo bout it though ??

My self and a lot of friends in dogs stopped all donations to the SSPCA / RSPCA quite a few years ago. We now concentrate on supporting breed and local rescues.

Most people into dogs or animals in a serious way know what they are like and won't support them! There are many private rescue centres who do need support and do have the interests of the animals at heart. I often move dogs around the south of England for rescue centres at no cost because the people involved use every last penny of there own money to help the animals and not line there pockets!

Better not to breed if you don't have space to keep them all or homes already booked.
