Guest Posted August 18, 2009 Report Posted August 18, 2009 Many of us think they should pull out Paul, sadly that isn't likely to be the case.

Guest bigda Posted August 18, 2009 Report Posted August 18, 2009 out of the three main forces, i think the army is the one who always seem to get kicked the hardest, and are classed by a lot of howty toytties as the lowest ranked force of all, shame realy as i think there room for all to be deployed as ground forces to give those guys a break :-/ imo
Guest Owen Posted August 18, 2009 Report Posted August 18, 2009 It did'nt have to be like this. If we were serious about not allowing drugs in our communities there would be no market for it. And if we had run Britain properly so that everyone worked and those who don't, are not paid. We would not have to fund the lazy and the scroungers. Then the Employers should have to employ British labour rather than exploit foreigners so that they can fiddle and keep wages low. And then of course without foreigners everywhere it would be very difficult for non-Brits to merge into the background. The risk of Terrorists being unseen would be gone. And the cost of all this would not have to be spent The money saved could then be spent on health, education and pensions. And best of all our sons and daughters would not be dying on causes that we all know are a terrible wast of life. Now because it suites the Yanks and our Masters they are going to talk to the Taliban. So why are we allowing the best of our youth to die out there then?

Guest stb Posted August 18, 2009 Report Posted August 18, 2009 well said that man! we as parents worry from the day that they are born ,from riding on a bike for the 1st time to when they leave home and become parents themselves. yep thats right, if you looked at the death rate and accidents in the construction industry alone it would frighten you. The only thing is you are lucky to see a snippet about it anywhere. Most jobs have there dangers and its not nice to hear about
Guest Posted August 18, 2009 Report Posted August 18, 2009 my 2 sons only came back from afgan last sept. one of them was ok and the other seen and was involved in some horific stuff yes it is a parents worse night mare to get that phone call from the families officer , sory to say but thimbles is correct they dont have to join if you ask my 2 sons do they want to go back they cant wait its exciting for young lads and they fear nothing but it beats faffing around barracks too boaring for them the parents are the ones who realy suffer its very hard thats why i run the sale for the mark wright project very worth while but the most important thing we can do back here is support them and not get involved in the whys and where fors they feel very proud to get there homecomming parades so go support your local regement when they march through the town thats all the boys want and lets hope its over sooner than later
