Montrose and Dist HPS members are holding their annual Breeder / Buyer sale in the Caledonia Golf Club, Traill Drive, East Links, Montrose, DD10 8SW, on Sunday 8thApril. Penning from 12, sale starts at13:30 hrs, all fanciers are welcome to come along and participate in the sale either by entering or buying young birds. The prize money will be flown for from the Grampian Combine Wakefield young bird race and is open to all Angus /Dundee Fed flyers. If a Combine area breeder enters a youngster that is then bought by a fancier outwith the area, the breeder will then be able to enter a substitute bird so that they can still compete for the prize money.

Last years breeder winners were from Lanark, Forfar and Montrose, with the winning buyers from Forfar and Montrose.

Here is an opportunity to buy a quality young bird as we have young birds entered from many top flyers, also the Montrose & Dist members racing with the the Angus Fed had first 5 fed positions from Arniston, the first 2 in the Fed from Wakefield, the first 2 in the Fed and the Grampian combine from Leicester, 1st Fed & 3rd Combine from Eastbourne, 2nd Fed, from Clermont, plus other Fed and combine positions with the "Old Birds."

Young bird racing saw Montrose & Dist members win several Fed positions including the first 3 in the Fed from Airdrie.

We Hope to welcome the many fanciers who have entered our sale before, anyone coming along for the first time are really welcome.

Thanks in anticipation of a quality entry.
